Position Summary The Learning Leader – Junior School is responsible for leading the development and implementation of innovative, dynamic, and inquiry-based learning programs that ignite curiosity, foster creativity, and encourage experiential learning. This role includes a designated time allowance for guiding Learning Design within the Junior School, alongside a teaching allocation. This includes delivering the Junior School High Potential Learning program and contributing to year-level teaching. To support these responsibilities, the Learning Leader – Junior School is an exemplary professional role model for both staff, students and the community, demonstrating best practices in teaching and reflecting the school’s culture and values in every aspect of their work. The full-time equivalent (FTE) allocation consists of 0.5 FTE for teaching and 0.5 FTE for Position of Responsibility. Terms of Position of Responsibility (POR) This POR is for a two-year term only, after which the School reserves the right to either reappoint or re-advertise the POR. The POR comes with monetary allowance and time release. The substantive teacher role is ongoing.
