About the Opportunity Our EnergyCo NSW Finance and Operations team is currently seeking to appoint a Senior Administrative Officer to be primarily based out of our Sydney CBD office, with hybrid working options available. This role is part of a fabulous team within an exciting agency working towards the transition of the network to energy renewables. The Senior Administrative Officer provides a broad range of administrative services and leverages extensive business unit knowledge to support the unit's program of work and facilitate the delivery of business operations. This role is varied and on any given day you could be working across office based administrative tasks, invoicing and PO creation, providing administrative support in relation to records and database management to collating and preparing business reports. If being an administrative superstar sounds like a skill you possess, keep reading to find out more… About You We are looking for an admin superstar to step into our team and shine As a Senior Administrative Officer, you will have the flexibility to set your own priorities to achieve deadlines with the support of your manager as required. If you have a keen eye for details, an ability to juggle multiple conflicting priorities and deadlines and thrive in a high volume environment whilst working autonomously and as part of a team, we implore you to submit an application. Although it is not an essential requirement, if you know your way around platforms such as MyWorkZone and SAP that would be amazing Sound experience in Accounts Payable with a focus on invoicing is the cherry on top. This role will have a heavy focus on invoice and special payment processing, raising, varying and closing purchase orders and liaising with project teams to provide timely updates of payment statuses. The Energy Corporation of NSW (EnergyCo) is a statutory corporation established under the Energy and Utilities Administration Act 1987 and governed by its Board, appointed by the Minister for Energy. EnergyCo is a Staff Agency employing all EnergyCo staff and is an agency related to the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW). EnergyCo plays a pivotal role in the NSW Government’s Electricity Infrastructure Roadmap , which aims to transform the state’s electricity system into one that is cheap, clean, and reliable. As Infrastructure Planner under the Electricity Infrastructure Investment Act 2020, EnergyCo is responsible for leading the delivery of the State’s first five Renewable Energy Zones (REZs) and the first two priority transmission infrastructure projects (PTIPs), which are located in the Central-West Orana, New England, South West, Hunter-Central Coast, and Illawarra regions. We work closely with communities, investors, and industry to investigate, plan, recommend and coordinate generation, storage and network infrastructure projects.
