About the role Located in Virginia, Brisbane 4014. This is a full-time role from Monday to Friday. Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accounts Administrator to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with specific experience in the construction industry. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations. Key Responsibilities for the role - but not limited to: Oversee and manage the day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger. Maintain relationships with suppliers and oversee procurement processes to optimize costs and quality of services. Daily Bank Reconciliation. Manage cash flow and financial planning. Ensure project costings are posted correctly to allow for the analysis and posting of monthly WIP. Manage the timely input and reconciliation of company credit cards after distribution to cardholders. Monitor and control operating expenses, review invoices, and track spending to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards. Assist in the preparation of financial reports for senior management. Skills & experience Minimum of 2-3 years of accounting experience, with at least 1 years in the construction industry. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in accounting software preferably Microsoft Business Central / Dynamics Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
