Position title: Retail Studio Manager (Richmond, VIC) Reports to: Head of Marketing (Scoresby VIC) Department: Marketing Key relationships · Retail Clients (Public) · Commercial Clients (Builders/A&D) · Customer Care Team · Installation Team · Showroom Assistant (Direct report) · Flame, Commercial, Thermofilm Sales Teams · Internal Sales · Finance · Broader GDA staff Overview of position Facilitate sales through the showroom, provide exceptional customer service to those in store, online and on phone. Manage the day to day running of the showroom ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all processes Hours Tuesday – Friday 8:30am – 5pm, Saturday 8:30am – 2pm Essential skills · Strong sales skills · Good communication skills · Good organisational skills · Strong attention to detail · Computer skills (Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel) are required · Able to work independently and within a small team · Strong work ethic · Is personable, enjoys meeting and talking to a wide variety people and is comfortable and confident in many social settings · Shows initiative in improving the customer service and processes around this. Experience/Qualifications Previous customer sales experience required, preferably in specified area including Flame, HVAC or building industry Key responsibilities Achieve or exceed retail sales targets Manage incoming sales enquiries, including walk-ins, phone-calls, website, etc Record customer leads to provide metrics on foot traffic, call volumes, website, etc Update and maintain the CRM database for all sales prospects and quoting activities Assist and support clients (existing and new – including Builders, Developers, Architects and Designers) in the selection and application of Flame products/services Obtain and continuously improve in-depth technical product knowledge/application Liaise with the Customer Care Team for order activations, availability and lead times Assist and support local sales teams – including payments, in-studio client appointments and in-studio events for commercial clients/new product launches Attend scheduled sales meetings and training as required Open and close the studio securely and perform all other onsite duties as required Adhere to company policy, including OH&S as well as regulatory guidelines Stock management – accepting deliveries, working with planning team on Ad hoc tasks as directed Location Ignite Fireplace Studio – 300 Swan St, Richmond, VIC 3121
