Role Our client is seeking an empathetic and organised Administration officer to support grieving families in giving their loved ones a dignified farewell. This role ensures that all graphic designs meet company quality standards and align with family wishes while providing compassionate guidance before, during, and after the service. Responsibilities Deliver warm and compassionate customer service to stakeholders and clients through various channels, including reception, phone, and email, ensuring a supportive environment. Manage quick deadlines and at times stressful situations with sensitivity and care, providing compassionate support to families during challenging times. Collaborate professionally with a diverse range of individuals and cultures, demonstrating respect, patience, and empathy in all interactions. Maintain a high attention to detail in all aspects of work, ensuring accuracy and quality in deliverables. Liaise with client families to assess their audio-visual needs, including coordinating photo presentations, and the creation of ‘chapel screens’ that reflect their wishes. Work closely with stakeholders to design and produce printed materials for funerals, such as booklets, bookmarks, postcards, thank-you cards, and other commemorative items. Organise and manage memorial books for families, ensuring they are prepared with care and presented appropriately. Collect and collate feedback from families and stakeholders to continually improve services and processes. Understand and adhere to the company's policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines. Follow workplace health and safety (WHS) protocols to maintain a safe and secure work environment for all. Demonstrate a strong commitment to teamwork, actively collaborating with colleagues to achieve shared goals and enhance service delivery. Remain self-motivated and organised, effectively prioritizing tasks and managing time to meet deadlines and ensure efficient operations. Requirements Experience: 1-2 years of administrative experience in a professional setting, demonstrating the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Personal Attributes: An empathetic and compassionate approach to client interactions, combined with strong organisational skills and a keen attention to detail. A self-motivated attitude that drives the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Technical Skills: Proficiency in the MS Office Suite, with the ability to create documents, manage customer product designs, and design presentations efficiently.
