We are seeking an energetic and knowledgeable customer service/administration professional to be the main point of contact for our Victorian Site located in Dandenong. The successful applicant will provide assistance to our customers and dealers with their service and spare parts enquiries. A background in mechanics, and spare parts is advantageous but full training will be provided. Knowledge of and experience with earthmoving equipment and machinery preferred. You will be part of both our service and sales team and report to the Sales & Operations Manager. To be successful in this role, you would need to have strong computer skills and be an excellent communicator both over the phone and face to face. Responsibilities / Experience & Qualifications Answer incoming phone calls and perform appropriate action required from customer enquiries. Greet walk in customers and attend to over-counter spare parts sales and internal sales queries. Process quotes, orders, payments, and invoices. Interpret spare parts calls. Provide advice to customers over the phone in breakdown situations and determine the best outcomes. Monitor current/outstanding orders to ensure customer expectations are met. Develop and maintain good working relationships with customers and respond to technical enquiries. Monitor distribution of products/services to ensure alignment with customer expectations. Sound interpersonal and organizational skills Excellent communication, both written and verbal. Strong Customer service and Spare Part sales systems and skills, including professional telephone manner. Self-motivated with drive to meet and exceed results.
