Our principal dermatologist, Dr Frances Tefany, has been providing specialist skin services in Bowral for nearly 30 years. About the role: The primary objective of this role is to provide a high standard of customer service by focusing on supporting Southern Highlands Dermatology’s patients, doctors, and nurses. As the first point of customer contact, the position is seen as critical in establishing a professional image and maintaining the reputation of Southern Highlands Dermatology. A customer’s first and last impression will be evaluated on the experience of each visit to Southern Highlands Dermatology. This exciting position is the face of Southern Highlands Dermatology and is responsible for: Providing a warm welcome to all patients and visitors to Southern Highlands Dermatology Making patient appointments, provision of fee information and meeting patient’s service needs on the telephone, via email or face-to-face Accurate patient billing and daily banking reconciliation What we are looking for: To be successful, ideally your experience will have been gained in the health sector, including: Hospital or busy medical practice front desk/reception Patient appointments and follow ups Processing payments using a billing system, including processing Medicare payments Ensuring a smooth clinic flow of patients We are looking for an experienced medical receptionist with a genuine caring disposition.
