A challenging position exists for an experienced Construction Manager to join the team at Rio Tinto. This role will manage over $700m of brownfield construction projects at Cape Lambert. The portfolio of projects include: Chute replacement and upgrades Upgrade of balanced machines, ship stackers, reclaimers and ship loaders. Construction of a purpose-built sampling facility Upgrade of electrical packages including, substations, switch rooms etc About You To be considered for this role you will ideally have: 20 years relevant construction experience ideally in the mining and resources sector. Experience and familiarity with Rio Tinto systems and processes. Proven experience managing and delivering large multidisciplinary brownfields, shutdown and tie in projects on time and on budget. People/Team management experience with the ability to manage and negotiate win-win outcomes with all key stakeholders. Strong leadership, coaching and decision-making experience with the ability to manage and lead a diverse workforce. Review and ensure effective utilisation and deployment of physical and human resources. Demonstrate a strong commitment and focus to workplace HSE and compliance with relevant industry codes, legislation and standards. This position is offered FIFO Perth on a 5:2 - 4:3 roster.
