Your role at St John of God Subiaco Hospital As an experienced Café all-rounder, engage well with café customers by delivering a high standard of hospitality and service whilst operating in a timely manner. The Position Make a deliberate, personal effort to engage with café customers. Maintain a high standard of customer service through friendliness, speed and efficiency. Prepare hot and cold food orders as required and to menu standards including liaising with the kitchen caregivers as necessary. ​Process customer payments at the till with friendliness, speed and accuracy (collecting correct payment from all customers). Adhere to the café standards for product presentation and portion size. Ensure the security of cash, stock and equipment. Ensure displays are well stocked and merchandised. Use own initiative to solve minor problems as they arise during the shift. You will have a high standard of personal presentation and punctuality with the willingness to learn new coffee and food production skills while maintain food hygiene standards. To succeed you will have an ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers while working autonomously and within a team environment.
