We are looking for Quality Cloud Architects who want to join and grow a high-performing team which aims to help create a world class engineering capability. The technologies used will be wide ranging and varied. You will be energetic to learn and pick up new technologies and work across different clients and sectors. In this role we will be bringing together the traditional responsibilities across Quality Engineering, DevOps and Cloud Engineering. Responsibilities : Designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure solutions Teach and evangelise engineering teams how to build more secure and repeatable infrastructure at scale. Apply SRE principles to automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and management Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to ensure system health and performance Collaborate with development and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues Drive continuous improvement in cloud operations through automation and process optimization Design incident management and response processes Conduct performance analysis and capacity planning to optimize resource utilization Required Skills and Expertise: Cloud architecture design and implementation Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and practices Cloud infrastructure provisioning and automation (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) Configuration management (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef) Container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker Swarm) Monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack) Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Go, Java) Scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell) Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) Familiarity with AWS Well-Architected Framework, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) best practices, or Azure architecture best practices Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
