Cloud and Infrastructure Delivery Engineer We are seeking a Cloud and Infrastructure Delivery Engineer for a client in Canberra. Work location : Canberra (Baseline Clearance is essential, a Negative Vetting Level 1 or Level 2 is highly desirable. ) Key Responsibilities: Develop technology architecture artefacts (Solution Outlines, System Architecture Docs). Provide technical services across infrastructure and platforms. Create technical migration plans for legacy systems. Ensure solutions meet enterprise technical patterns and governance practices. Select and budget for appropriate storage options in departmental projects. Build and maintain stakeholder relationships. Produce web dashboards and performance/capacity reports using tools like Kibana and Grafana . Mentor and coach team members, transferring skills and knowledge. Collaborate with project and development teams to implement monitoring and alerting. Primary Technical Skills: Infrastructure & Platform Expertis: Active Directory (Domain Services): Managing user authentication, roles, and security policies. Windows/Unix Server: Installation, configuration, and administration. Microsoft Exchange: Email platform setup, management, and troubleshooting. VMWare ESX, Hyper Converged Infrastructure, VM Cloud: Proficiency in virtualized environments, including infrastructure management and optimization. SQL & Oracle Databases: Database management, backup, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. Networking (LAN/WAN/Gateway): Solid understanding of networking protocols, configurations, and troubleshooting. Cloud Platforms (Azure & AWS): Deploying, managing, and scaling solutions on public cloud platforms. Technical Governance & Architecture: Experience implementing technical governance practices to ensure compliance with enterprise standards. Ability to design technology architectures , including solution outlines and system architecture documentation. Transition Planning: Developing detailed migration strategies for legacy systems to modern platforms. Storage Solutions: Selecting and budgeting for appropriate storage options in line with project requirements. Proficiency in using tools like Kibana and Grafana to create dashboards, monitor system health, and generate capacity/performance reports. Knowledge of monitoring and alerting solutions for system performance and availability.
