The Enterprise Management Team, within the Technology and Services Division, plays a critical role in the delivery and support of the department's application and hosting services. The team's core responsibility is to maintain the availability of the applications and infrastructure that underpin the department and supported agencies. EMT Systems Engineers will work under the broad direction of the EMT Team Leader to deliver the required outcomes. The key duties of the position include The ideal candidate will be adaptable, outgoing and enjoy a fast paced, challenging work environment. Responsibilities include: Keeping abreast of daily monitoring and health check tasks to ensure the availability of the department's applications and infrastructure. Providing technical support, advice and assistance to developers, consultants and various external and internal stakeholders. Providing support to team members to resolve complex issues. Participating in departmental projects as required. Undertaking diagnosis and problem resolution tasks in relation to system outages.
