As a Senior Contracts Administrator, you will be responsible for: Overseeing all aspects of contract administration for new build projects Managing the preparation, review, and execution of contracts Ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and managing any variations Collaborating with project teams to provide support and advice on contract-related matters Monitoring project progress against contractual obligations and identifying any potential risks or issues Managing subcontractor agreements and associated documentation Participating in contract negotiations as required Providing guidance and mentorship to junior members of the contracts administration team Maintaining accurate and up-to-date contract records and documentation Contributing to the continuous improvement of contract management processes and procedures Solid understanding of construction contracts Excellent communication and negotiation skills Meticulous attention to detail Ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment. Skills And Experiences Skills and Experience: Relevant commercial administration experience in Construction, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or associated disciplines Intermediate to advanced proficiency in relevant software packages such as Microsoft Suite (including Excel), advanced proficiency in project financial management tools (e.g. Cheops / Jobpac) and exposure to a contract management system. 4 years’ experience working as a Contracts Administrator or Quantity Surveyor in the construction and/or engineering industry Experience with a variety of project values and complexity Understanding of document control experience in accordance with records management procedures Interpret and apply relevant legislation/code on the project to prevent potential business exposure Experience in negotiating with subcontractors and clients Experience in managing and mentoring a project commercial team.
