About the role The Electrical Engineer will focus on the design and drafting of electrical and control systems for various projects. These include fuel storage and dispensing facilities, aviation refuelling systems, solar/battery/generator infrastructure and other industrial projects. This role is Monday to Friday, based in our new Hemmant workshop. Design and drafting of electrical systems including document and quality control. Design and implementation of on-grid and off-grid energy storage systems. Preparation of site layouts reflecting electrical equipment locations, cable routing, earthing and lightning protection requirements, lighting requirements, etc. Supporting internal project managers and electricians with the preparation of electrical, instrumentation, and control scope of works and other project documentation. Procurement of equipment and advice to meet product specifications. About You Experience with electrical design for fuel facilities and exposure to control systems and automation, including PLC’s, DCS, and SCADA systems Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, or relevant tertiary qualification Experience in design/drafting of electrical, instrumentation, and control systems. Competency in Autodesk AutoCAD Competent in the preparation of maximum demand calculations, equipment and instrumentation specification. Why IOR? IOR is proudly different.
