Penalties Ad hoc rosters up to 14/7, 12-hour shifts FIFO from Sydney only About The Opportunity Programmed Facility Management are seeking experienced FIFO Casual Chefs to join our Minesite Village Management Team to provide relief coverage. A dynamic position, this is an excellent opportunity to be a part of an essential team that provides soft services such as Village Management, Catering, Transport, Cleaning and Utility services to a well-known Mining Company situated in the west of North Queensland. Benefits Provided Flights, Uniforms / PPE and Accommodation An Employee Assistance Program, which incorporates a range of support and counselling services for any issue, personal or work related Key Responsibilities This position is responsible for maintaining a high standard of daily food and menu preparation, cooking and service for the Residents of the Village. Ad hoc support to the Village Team is occasionally required. Duties include: Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and safety practices, in line with HACCP guidelines, procedures and documentation Production of high-quality, nutritious, and well-presented meals Continuous menu design and implementation Maintenance of the kitchen premises and food production equipment Assist other departments from time to time, if required About You To join our team, you will be a qualified Chef with demonstrated experience and innovation in mass catering environments. You will possess strong knowledge of Hygiene and Food Safety Standards, with cultural dietary requirements being an advantage. Additionally, a commitment to the safety of yourself and others, and a passion to provide quality product, and service with a smile, at all times. You will possess: VALID C Class License Australian Working Rights Certificate III or IV Commercial Cookery (or equivalent qualification) Ability to pass comprehensive (Client) Pre-Employment Medical including Instant Drug and Alcohol Screening Current satisfactory National Police Check (within 6 months) Previous experience at a Minesite Village experience (mandatory) Additionally, you will also possess the following skills: Basic Systems and Technology experience i.e., MS Office, online/web-based Payroll & Training requirements Ability to work within a Team; be a self-motivator with a “can do” attitude Ability to prioritise and adapt to changing work tasks in a fast-paced environment Have a strong commitment to the health and safety of yourself and others Demonstrate a professional approach in the workplace, building and maintaining positive relationships with key stakeholders, both externally and internally About Us Programmed Facility Management is a leading provider of asset management, facilities maintenance and project management services across a multitude of industries.
