Commercial Services – Gippsland Campus Casual opportunity with a competitive hourly rate HEW 1 - $35.49 per hour plus 11.5% superannuation About the role You will form part of a team that is responsible for a broad range of duties across the food and retail services at the Federation University, Gippsland Campus. You will provide professional and friendly customer support and associated functions within our food and retail services. You will cover a range of functions within the food and retail space throughout the year and be to interact with a diverse range of internal and external clients and visitors which often require discretion and confidentiality. About you You will be able to work independently as well as part of a team and work towards tight time frames in the presence of customers. You will possess the necessary time management skills to ensure completion of tasks within tight, fast paced timelines with good accurate attention to detail. You will: provide customer service of food and beverages to a variety of stakeholders; manage the cash register and be familiar with cash handling procedures; maintain the cleanliness of the workplace to ensure both customer and staff safety; prepare and clear the dining area both prior and after use; and maintain food displays with fresh and popular saleable items.
