The Role The Assistant Accounts Payable Clerk is a key contributor within our Finance team, responsible for accurately processing supplier invoices and ensuring data integrity. Working closely with the Assistant Accountant, this role is vital for maintaining smooth financial operations and providing support to the wider finance team. This Part Time role is 15 - 20 hours per week. Areas of Responsibility Organize and process supplier invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payments. Match supplier documents and verify costs against Purchase Orders. Identify discrepancies in costs and report findings to the Assistant Accountant. Prepare invoices for payment based on the payment schedule. Maintain accurate invoice data entry and assist with ongoing finance-related tasks. Collaborate with the finance team to support additional accounting functions as required. Who You Are You have experience working in accounts payable or a related financial role. You possess strong attention to detail and have excellent organizational skills. You demonstrate a logical, neat, and methodical approach to tasks. You are comfortable with data entry and have basic typing skills. You enjoy working collaboratively in a friendly and supportive office environment.
