Description Casual Technician Reference number: 10211 Casual Position Salary commencing at $47.71 per hour plus 11.5% superannuation (commensurate with experience) Work as part of the friendly team at Moonee Valley Council’s Clocktower Centre The Opportunity This position will support activation of the Clocktower Centre by providing technical services and support for the venue’s 500 seat proscenium arch theatre, studio and other creative spaces and functions rooms. They will also provide friendly and flexible customer service to patrons, hirers and users of the facility. Responsibilities Set in place and operate technical equipment (lighting, audio, mechanical and audio visual) appropriate to individual client’s requirements Undertake maintenance and repair of technical equipment Deliver excellent customer service Ensure that all relevant policy and procedures are adhered to. Skills & Experience Demonstrated understanding of and experience in working for a performing arts venue that facilitates a busy calendar of events by a range of arts groups Experience in a customer service role, preferably in the performing arts sector Relevant industry experience setting up and operating computerised lighting, audio and AV equipment Availability to work rostered shifts that can occur Monday to Sunday, early morning, daytime and evening How to Apply Thank you for considering the Clocktower Centre.
