Bollore Logistics, part of the CMA CGM Group, is presently undergoing integration with CEVA Logistics, a strategic move aimed at enhancing operational synergies and strengthening the group’s logistics capabilities Bollore Logistics Australia, West Park Site is looking for 2 Warehouse Shift Supervisors (AM and PM) with the below job responsibilities: · Ensure performance issues are handed promptly and professionally. · Ensure that employees are completing their tasks and meeting deadlines. · Ensure that employees are working the required hours and minimising the need for overtime through correct planning. · Coordinate efficient operation of the warehouse. · Ensure all resources are utilized efficiently. · Plan and coordinate labour in conjunction with customer demands. · Ensure that the warehouse & logistics work is done to maximize profit through system enhancement and re-engineering of existing business operational processes. · Continuously monitor the performance and activities of the warehouse through the use of KPIs, with a primary focus on cost controls. · Control the expenses of the Warehouse (eg. Packing material etc) to a reasonable level. · Ensure the companies policies and procedures when undertaking your duties are followed at all times. · Ensure that all new employees are given the appropriate induction in the QHSE field in particular. · Train and monitor staff in standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safe work practices, including new employee inductions and tool box talks. · Ensure that all new employees are given the appropriate induction in the QHSE field in particular. · Ensure that all products are delivered as per customer or client requirements and on time. · Ensure all interaction and communication with customers or clients is professionally. · Ensure management is aware of all complaints. · Attend Client meetings to assist and ensure Key Customers IT and System requirements are satisfied at all times. · Liaise as the primary contact between customers, operational departments, accounts and IT support groups. Requirements · Minimum 12 months experience as supervisor · Experience working in a 3PL warehouse environment · Experience using RF Scanners and working in a paperless warehouse · Computer skills and experience using WMS · Ability to meet deadlines and KPIs · Good communications skills · Hold a valid forklift licence is a plus
