You will be responsible for providing the following deliverables including but not limited to: Developing technology architecture artefacts. Providing technical services across a highly complex environment. Developing and reviewing detailed designs. Creating technical plans for migration of legacy systems. Providing guidance through the TOSB design authority in conjunction with the technical assurance team. Ensuring artefacts produced are fit for purpose, adhere to the enterprise technical patterns, and can be approved for implementation by governance boards. Building and maintaining stakeholder relationships. Maintaining and enhancing reporting activities to meet business requirements, including: -producing Web dashboards for monitoring as required (e.g. Kibana, Grafana); -producing periodic performance and capacity reports following existing processes; -enhancing existing reporting capability through the creation, and periodic production of new performance and capacity reports. Providing assistance with feeding events into monitoring, alerting and reporting solutions. Mentoring and coaching team members including transferring skills and knowledge. Liaising with Development Teams/Project Teams to ensure that the appropriate performance monitoring and alerting is implemented. Requirements Essential criteria 3 years’ experience in design and delivery of operational environments encompassing the disciplines as detailed in criteria 2. Excellent working knowledge/experience with three or more the following: - Active Directory (Domain Services); - Windows/Unix Server; - Microsoft Exchange; - VMWare ESX Server, Hyper Converged Infrastructure environments and VM Cloud; - Databases – SQL & Oracle; - Network (LAN WAN and Gateway); - Cloud (Azure & AWS). Desirable criteria Whilst a Baseline Clearance is essential, a Negative Vetting Level 1 or Level 2 is highly desirable.
