About the role: Reporting to the General Counsel & Company Secretary as part of a large legal, risk and governance team, your role will focus on privacy which will include, advice on current and future privacy and data protection obligations with a view to adopting and implementing best practice privacy compliance; identifying privacy / data protection risks; assisting the business in investigating privacy breaches/potential breaches; liaising closely across the business including, risk, compliance as well as technology teams to develop information management policies and procedures; developing training and processes that build privacy awareness across the business and promote best practice; and assisting with associated commercial legal matters. Skills/Experience: To be considered for this role you will have: at least 5 years' post admission experience in private practice law firm / in-house with exposure to privacy and data protection law; strong advisory skills and a commercial approach; experience in working closely with the business including in the development of internal training.
