Description The Opportunity We are currently seeking On call Casual Stevedores to join our operations in Burnie, Tasmania. Key roles will be Wharf duties Lashing Plugging reefer cords and, Operating machinery. Prior experience desired but not essential as full training will be provided. A forklift license is essential Skills And Experiences About You. You are a motivated, enthusiastic and safety conscious person who would be able to obtain a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC). Due to the nature of the role, being physically fit is not only beneficial but essential. You will also be required to be flexible with your time as the hours of work can fluctuate over 7 days, including weekends. And being able to attend work at short notice is adventageous You also enjoy working outdoors, operating at all times in a safe manner and ensuring safety breaches or incidents are reported in a timely manner.
