Our Federal Government client is looking for an experienced Linux Engineer for an initial 12 months contract plus extensions. The Linux Engineer will be responsible for: Run and maintain core IT services, upon which all other IT services are based. Including; data centres, servers, virtualization, operating systems, storage, backup, time, logging, email, domain name resolution, web proxying and security. Securely manage connections to/from the internet and other government networks. Perform daily security monitoring and risk mitigations across the oragnization's IT environment. Meeting project and BAU requirements.
