MR/HR Truck Driver $33-38p/h super Full Time , permanent role, 7am-3pm- Monday- Friday Warehouse based in Malaga, the role will be servicing the Perth metro area. About the role An opportunity is now available for a reliable and enthusiastic person with experience of driving a MR or HR Truck , to join a well-established National business who provide products to a mostly wholesale customer base. Our client are a very well established (40 years) Australian owned business who operate globally and they are recognised as the market leader in their field. This role is based out of the warehouse/office at Malaga and will involve driving and delivering goods around the Perth Metro area. Role and Responsibilities: Operate a truck or delivery vehicle safely and in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations. Transport goods to and from specified locations according to schedule. Inspect and verify goods before departure and upon arrival. Perform routine pre-start checks and maintenance on the truck, including oil changes, tire checks, and brake inspections. Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure the safety of oneself, other road users, and the goods. Comply with federal and state regulations, including those related to hazardous materials if applicable. Communicate effectively with customers Proper handling of goods to prevent damage and provide excellent service. Complete and submit all necessary documents, including proof of delivery, inspection reports, and incident reports. Assist with loading and unloading goods. Collaborate with dispatchers and other team members to ensure efficient operations. Requirements: Manual Truck licence (HR preferred, MR minimum) essential Full working rights in Australia Ability to pass a Driving Assessment, Criminal History Check, and Pre-Employment Fitness Assessment Valid driver license with a clean driving record. Strong driving skills and knowledge of road safety regulations. Ability to handle physical tasks, including loading and unloading goods. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Basic mechanical knowledge to perform routine maintenance and minor repairs. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move heavy objects. Prolonged periods of sitting while driving. Work Environment: Primarily on the road, may also including loading dock and customer places- only Perth Metro area May involve irregular hours, during the busy months, you will be paid overtime.
