This network enables us to provide next-day express freight services to all South Australia (Metro and Regional), Broken Hill and Mildura. We currently have an opportunity for a permanent part time Forklift Operator for our afternoon shifts, working 30hrs each week with a approx. start time 2:30PM-3:30PM, Monday to Friday. This role is vital in ensuring the seamless and highly efficient distribution of freight within our state-of-the-art, purpose-built logistics and distribution depot located in Gillman. What you will be doing: Precise and efficient freight distribution. Regular utilisation of forklifts. Operation of sorting aids such as scanners, tapers, hand trolley jacks, and other equipment essential for freight sorting. Collaborative and efficient teamwork. About you: Current Forklift License Prior forklift experience within a logistics setting. Proficiency in understanding and adhering to the Chain of Responsibility and Safe Manual Handling Practices. A steadfast commitment to safety protocols and a collaborative teamwork approach. Exceptional attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to accuracy. Literacy and comprehension. Excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.
