The Role: The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee daily warehouse operations, including efficient receiving, storage and distribution of stock and consumables while ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards at our Port Melbourne branch. Please note that we are relocating from Port Melbourne to Noble Park in Mid December 2024. Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities including ordering, receiving and distribution of goods. Monitor and enforce safety standards including, but not limited to, the Warehouse Traffic Management Plan. Implement and maintain warehouse policies and procedures. Manage inventory accuracy through data entry, stocktakes and audits. Oversee picking and packing of stock. Optimise space utilization and maintain warehouse cleanliness and organisation. Ensure that stock and chemicals are stored in accordance with safety standards and SDS’s. Prepare reporting as required on, eg, stock levels, stocktakes, trends. Plan for future capacity requirements. Ensure all equipment is registered and safety inspected in accordance with OHS requirements. Experience Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar role in a warehouse setting Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and best practices. Understanding of OHS requirements. Excellent leadership, coupled with strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively manage time, prioritise tasks and work under pressure. Proficiency in MS Office. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Detail oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. Ability to lift heavy objects (using manual handling processes) and operate warehouse equipment Qualifications Forklift Licence and Manual Drivers License.
