Description ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY: We are seeking a qualified barista to work as a Retail Assistant in the School’s coffee shop “Sippers Cafe”. This is a CASUAL, as needed position during term time. Work hours will be from 7.45am to 4.30pm including a 30 minute unpaid break (8.25 hour paid day). Ideally we are seeking someone to start ASAP. This position reports to the Manager of the School tuck-shop and cafe. Skills And Experiences ABOUT YOU: To be successful in this role you must be available to work every from 7.45am until 4.30pm during weekdays. You will also need to demonstrate that you have the following skills and qualifications; Experience working as a qualified Barista in a cafe or retail environment Demonstrated ability to produce a range of hot and cold beverages including consistent high quality coffee, with basic latte art Excellent customer service and presentation Proven ability to follow operating instructions and produce orders according to customer requirements Experience cleaning and maintaining service areas and equipment to meet hygiene standards Experience in opening and closing a cafe and handling cash and electronic transactions Able to work autonomously and as part of a team IMPORTANT INFORMATION: St Paul's School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all the students in our care.
