The Opportunity We now have an exciting opportunity available for an Integrity Engineer to join our Networks team in Kidman Park SA, Thomastown VIC or Eagle Farm QLD on a 2 Year Fixed Term Fulltime basis. Reporting to the Team Lead Pipeline Integrity, this role is responsible for providing integrity engineering services with a focus on transmission pipeline inspection. It supports the management of assets operated and maintained by APA Networks. Key Responsibilities Ensure the integrity, safety, reliability and compliance of all transmission assets operated and maintained by APA Networks Develop a national unpiggable process definition and project charter, identifying risks, priorities, roles and responsibilities and stakeholders Facilitate risk assessments on assets that are unable to be inspected, write reports and communicate risk reduction measures to relevant stakeholders. Develop inspection strategies and options analysis for reducing integrity risks on transmission pipelines. Deliver specific feasibility and piggability studies for pipelines requiring in line inspection Engaging with stakeholders to track progress and report accordingly Your background Completed tertiary studies in a relevant engineering discipline and strong experience in a relevant area. Knowledge of gas pipelines, network components, materials, network configuration and design principles Understand the interpretation and application of industry Codes of Practice, Standards, Acts and relevant legislation Sound knowledge of inline inspection (relevant technologies and operational) Strong internal and external stakeholder management skills Registered Engineer status or equivalent or able to achieve. About the Team Networks manages and operates transmission pipelines and local distribution networks that deliver gas to around 1.4 million households and businesses across Australia.
