School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences Part-time (40% FTE), fixed-term position through to 31 December 2025 The full-time base salary will range from $73,072 - $77,476 17% Superannuation (HEW Level 4) Based at our St Lucia campus About This Opportunity We are seeking an organised, motivated and energetic Administrative Assistant to join our world-class School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences. You will be involved in a range of administrative support activities for placements (work integrated learning) and student and academic administration. Your job will contribute directly to a high quality student experience. You will provide superior customer service through the delivery of friendly, helpful, accurate, and informative advice and services to students, professional and academic staff. Key responsibilities will include: Working within a team to support record management for the student lifecycle. Activities such as exam invigilation, coordination of student engagement events, managing requests for room bookings in the School’s specialist teaching rooms. Contribution to main reception functions such as managing the borrowing of school equipment by staff and students. General office duties including maintaining teaching supplies, stationery supplies, photocopying and collation of exam materials. Processing student applications for overseas professional registration. About You Completion of a diploma level qualification or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training. High level computing skills, preferably using Microsoft Office software. Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to providing high level customer service. Ability to work as part of a team and to organise workflow to meet competing demands and deadlines. High level of attention to detail and accuracy in written work. An empathy with and ability to communicate with students, including those from diverse cultural backgrounds. Knowledge of University student computer systems and packages e.g. SI-net, Business Objects, iSuite packages and the use of CRM systems is desirable.
