Your new role We are looking for a dedicated Non-Emergency Patient Transport (NEPT) Driver to join our team in Taren Point in a full-time capacity. In this role, you will work closely alongside a registered paramedic, ensuring patients are safely transported between healthcare facilities and their homes. Teamwork is essential, as you’ll share responsibilities such as vehicle cleaning, restocking, and moving stretchers. Essentials Rotating Rosters: You'll be happy to work rotating rosters with shifts generally 8 hours in length including early starts (6am-2pm) and late evenings (4pm-midnight) - this is absolutely essential Experience: Previous healthcare experience isn’t essential however this position should align with your future career goals Skills: Strong teamwork skills and the ability to build positive working relationships is essential Qualifications: A current, unrestricted driver’s license (LR license preferred), First Aid and CPR certification, and ideally a Certificate III in Non-Emergency Patient Transport (however not essential). Compliance: Must hold a Working with Children Check for paid employment, National Police Clearance (within 6 months), 5-year driving record, mask fit certificate, and evidence of full Category A immunisation.
