The successful educator will have the opportunity to teach Mathematics to Years 7, 9, and 10, as well as Year 7 Digital Technologies. Position Details: Role: Mathematics and Digital Technologies Educator Contract: Term 4 (with potential for extension) Location: Independent School, Brisbane Subjects: Year 7 Mathematics Year 9 Mathematics Year 10 Mathematics Year 7 Digital Technologies Start Date: Early Term 4, 2024 Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in Mathematics and Digital Technologies. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters curiosity and critical thinking. Use a variety of assessment strategies to monitor student progress and provide timely feedback. Collaborate with other staff members to contribute to the development of the curriculum. Provide pastoral care and support to students as needed. Qualifications and Experience: A teaching qualification with the ability to teach Mathematics across Years 7, 9, and 10. Familiarity with teaching Digital Technologies to Year 7 students. Current registration (or eligibility) with the Queensland College of Teachers (QCT). Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
