CBD based role | Great offices | Flexible working arrangements | Permanent opportunity CBD based role Great offices Flexible working arrangements Permanent opportunity This leading and highly recognised professional services firm is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Trust Accountant/Administrator to manage and coordinate a variety of trust-related transactions across their national offices. This critical role ensures compliance with various legislation while working closely with our finance team, partners, and other stakeholders. With your ability to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, key responsibilities include: Ensure the accurate and timely management of trust accounts in compliance with relevant regulations. Manage daily trust processes for all offices, including bank reconciliations, trust receipts/payments, PEXA transactions, and trust transfer requests. Open, close, and maintain client investment and controlled money accounts as needed. Lead trust-related projects to ensure best practices are implemented across the firm. Prepare month-end trust reports for all offices. Calculate and organise payments for statutory deposits and combined trust accounts. Complete Statements of Trust Money and assist with external and internal audits. Address general trust queries and notify of any changes in authorised signatories. Provide accounts receivable support for the finance team when required. Essential Criteria: Relevant trust-related experience in a legal or similar environment. Strong competency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Demonstrated ability to execute trust management responsibilities accurately and in a timely manner. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Ability to follow directions from partners and staff confidently. Discretion and tact in handling sensitive information.
