The Company Our client is a rapidly growing equipment hire provider dedicated to delivering advanced dewatering, pumping, and water treatment solutions across Australia’s Infrastructure, Civil Construction, Mining, and Quarry sectors. As the company is growing, they are currently looking for a Dual Trade Auto Electrician/Mechanic to join their Melbourne team to deliver high quality work. The Position An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Auto Electrician/Mechanic to join our client's team in Melbourne. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and components in a variety of water pumps, generators, vehicles and other equipment. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong technical background and a commitment to delivering outstanding service. The Role Diagnose and repair electrical issues on our extensive fleet of Diesel Pumps, Generators, and other equipment. Wiring and programming diesel Engine Controllers. Perform preventative maintenance to ensure peak performance and avoid downtime. Work collaboratively with our team to ensure efficient equipment operation on all project sites. Maintain a safe and organized work environment. The Candidate Qualifications: Qualified Auto Electrician Experience working with PLC’s or willing to learn Strong understanding of electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. A valid driver's license is essential. A valid forklift license if preferable.
