This role is mostly forklift work however some manual handling, general warehouse/yard work, administration and stock control will also be required. About the Opportunity This permanent full-time position requires a suitably experienced forklift driver with experience and skills to work within our team based in Ingleburn . The role will predominantly be forklift work however, some manual handling, general warehouse/yard work, administration and stock control will also be required. The successful applicant will require previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment, working in a team and perform a variety of duties including; Ensuring compliance with all safety requirements Daily pre-starts on mobile plant machinery Loading and unloading goods including inspection, dispatch and issuing inventory Ensuring inventory records are maintained including stocktaking, stock monitoring, stock returns and excess stock disposals Coordinating freight movement and associated transport companies Review inventory, records and departmental uses of supplied in order to prevent over stocking of materials with lower turnover rate Make-up orders ready for shipping, including manual handling of sliding sheets onto stacks About You Demonstrated experience in a warehouse environment Experience with fibre cement/plasterboard products is highly regarded Experience operating a 5/7t forklift would be highly regarded Forklift licence is essential Effective communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines Ability to work autonomously within a team environment Basic computer literacy Our Teammate Perks Etex Australia prioritises professional development, focusing on mentorship and supportive team environments that foster individual growth.
