As the Assistant Venue Manager for Garden Kitchen & Bar, you are a pro-active and enthusiastic individual who is an expert within leading a hospitality venue. In this role you will assist with the day–to-day operation of the venue providing effective management of a dynamic team. Garden Kitchen & Bar is the place to be on the Gold Coast, delivering a contemporary dining experience with a focus on fresh ingredients and a menu that blends modern flavours with live entertainment. This is a fantastic opportunity where you will showcase your food and beverage management and customer service skills throughout our property at The Star Gold Coast. A few of your responsibilities: Maintain a high level of guest focus in all services, ensuring that guest service delivery is effective and efficient Oversee operational functions that include rostering requirements, standard operating procedures, training and performance management Assist with the development, implementation and evaluation of service standards and standard operating procedures Ensure compliance with the Responsible Service of Alcohol and relevant provisions of the Liquor Act Assist with the selection, training and development of the team to ensure timely recruitment and career growth opportunities What we will be looking for: Previous leadership experience in a similar role A passion and enthusiasm for the hospitality industry and leading operational teams to deliver great guest experiences Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of guests and team members Highly organised, accountable, and eager, with a high attention to detail Accreditation in Responsible Service of Alcohol – RMLV/Approved Manager an advantage Please be aware that eligibility checks are required as part of the recruitment process and ongoing employment for this position.
