ABOUT THE ROLE Working in the Melbourne Distribution Centre and reporting to the Head of Production, the position will focus on a specific division within the overall warehouse operations. In a newly created team, the Warehouse Supervisor will work closely with the production and supply teams to ensure components are picked and available against production schedules. This role is more than a standard receiving, locating, and picking position; it is an autonomous position that will sit in with planning meetings. The ideal candidate will be proactive with warehouse exposure in an automotive or competent-based production. DUTIES • Work with the production and forecast team to pick components based on schedules • Ensure order picking is accurate and stock levels are correct using the WMS • Work closely with the warehouse leaders on process improvement and SOP • All incoming goods are condition inspected/Quantity upon offloading, appropriately stored away and accurately receipted on a timely basis. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE • Warehouse operations experience within the automotive / manufacturing space • Exposure to working with production, planning or manufacturing teams with stock projections • Experience working in a warehouse with high-value goods. • Hold a current LF reach licence COMPANY CULTURE Join an Australian-owned business with a robust systems process that is committed to creating quality products for the automotive sector.
