The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical engineering, with a focus on designing and managing electrical systems for renewable energy projects. You will collaborate closely with project teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects from design through to implementation. Key Responsibilities: Design electrical systems for renewable energy projects (wind, solar, BESS). Review and approve technical drawings, specifications, and documentation. Manage electrical components of project planning and execution. Ensure compliance with Australian energy regulations and standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise system performance. Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems. Provide technical support and troubleshooting during project execution. Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies. Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies. Ensure project timelines are met and budgets are adhered to. Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings. Stay updated with industry trends and new technologies in renewable energy. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Minimum of 5 years' experience in electrical engineering within the renewable energy sector. Experience with designing and managing electrical systems for wind, solar, or battery storage projects. Strong knowledge of Australian electrical standards and regulations. Proficiency in AutoCAD, electrical design software, and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
