Your New Role: Reporting to the Portfolio Manager, Quantitative and Derivative Strategies, the Senior Software Engineer will join a team responsible for the research, implementation, and management of systematic investment strategies. You will collaborate with Quantitative Portfolio Managers and Researchers to develop the software and infrastructure supporting the team’s work. Key duties include but are not limited to: Lead the design, development and testing of software solutions for systematic investment strategies. Partner with the quantitative researchers and portfolio managers to define priorities and deliver software and infrastructure solutions. Managing deployments to reduce risk and provide production support where required. Work will be subject to the review or approval of the Portfolio Manager, Quantitative and Derivative Strategies. Strong problem solving and analytical skills with an attention to detail. Strong organisational skills with an ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. What You’ll Need: Tertiary level qualification(s) in an applicable field – Computer Science, Mathematics or equivalent experience. Proficiency in one or more programming languages. Our main body of code is written in Python. A deep passion for technology and software development. Familiarity with the management of SQL databases and schema design. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and IaC is desirable. Experience with the Azure platform is desirable but not necessary.
