The Role: Primary Teacher / POL 1 Term 1, 2025 Full-time, 1 year tenure The Lead Teacher (POL 1) will be a highly skilled classroom practitioner whose role will be to improve the skill, knowledge and performance of the teachers within an allocated year level. As a visible presence within learning spaces, they will be involved in the professional goals and support of staff through coaching and using processes that develop knowledge, practice and professional engagement in others. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Develop a stimulating learning environment by using a variety of styles and approaches to cater to individual learning needs. Demonstrate a sound knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum and approaches to pedagogy that align with the MACS Vision for Instruction. Participate in coaching training Ensure appropriate adjustments are made to support the individual learning needs of students. Employ a variety of effective teaching strategies to effectively implement the Victorian Curriculum. Use, create, and evaluate online resources to enrich the curriculum. Commit to ongoing professional development for personal and or school-based needs.
