About the Role We are seeking a Max Term Full Time (1 year) Systems and Database Administrator, Location - Redfern, NSW tasked with providing a truly exceptional, customer focused service to drive excellence and performance. Purpose: The ideal candidate will support The Salvation Army Aged Care (TSAAC) implementation of the Aged Care Residential and Client Management Systems, development and database management, system processes and related information management. Key Roles and Responsibilities: The Systems Administrator is responsible for working with TSAAC IT Manager to: Engage with a range of internal and external business and technical stakeholders to understand and evaluate key requirements and support the delivery of effective solutions to satisfy those requirements. The role requires a dynamic individual and team player who can adapt to changing environments, is open to learning through practice, and work effectively across several initiatives Assist in coordinating a range of project delivery and perform business as usual tasks such as assessment of issues, auditing, tracking, reporting and support Preparing reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising information Conduct workshops, elicit, and document all findings in clear, easily understandable products Responsible for the knowledge transfer of business implications to the project managers Keep accurate and complete records of personal work activities in accordance with governance and project management requirements and the TSA’s records, information security and privacy policies and requirements Requirements of the role: Applied experience working with information systems, related field or equivalent work experience Experience with major healthcare software packages (e.g. i-Care, Alayacare, Lee-Care, ComCare and alike), including business processes related to Home Care Packaging and NDIS, etc. Solid experience in a range of software including Excel (Advanced), Visio and various Project-related tools Proven project management reporting skills Hands‐on testing experience within an entire range of testing including UAT, acceptance and system testing, both manual and automated testing Experience in logging and tracking defects from open to close, using an issue tracking tool Education Qualifications: Bachelor of Computer Sciences or equivalent IT industry qualifications Experience in SQL Databases and Report Writing (Power BI preferred) Project Management certifications and/or experience is desirable ITIL V3 Foundation Certification desirable Experience with O365 is preferred What we offer As a registered NFP we offer our eligible employees real and meaningful benefits such as; NFP salary packaging ($15,900 tax free) plus meals and entertainment benefit ($2,650) Flexible working conditions Health, fitness and financial discounts / benefits Paid parental leave - 12 weeks Up to 8 weeks leave per year through our purchase leave scheme Up to 5 days paid leave per year to ‘volunteer’ in a TSA program or activity Purpose driven career which has positive social and sustainable outcomes Employee Assistance Program - Independent confidential counselling service; Opportunity for career development; An inclusive culture of dedicated, passionate and professional team members Positively supporting and impacting the lives of others through your career contribution The Salvation Army is an Equal Opportunity Employer who provides an inclusive work environment and embraces the diverse talent of its people.
