Summary: Front office reception plus lots of diversity is what this role offers. We need someone who has a range of skills who can support our small, busy & dynamic office team. We are a community sporting body, serving a big volunteer customer base. You'll be responsible for dealing with or filtering our reception, telephone & email enquiries, managing our venue bookings, co-ordinating our disciplinary and tribunals workload along with providing all round support to our staff. The successful candidate will have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as join into team projects when required. You'll need to be flexible towards your workload management and be able to pivot as required. You must have a can do attitude and be able to manage competing priorities. Work Days & Hours Normal hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, with the occasional weekend or night time work required. Also important to note that you'll be working for a community sports organisation. Community sport is played outside of regular business hours, so the very nature of your role will see you working with community volunteers and amateur athletes, therefore, some out of hours and weekend work will be required from time to time. This will always be with notice, but the expectation is that you will be able to accomodate these variances when they arise. Responsibilities: Provide administrative support to various departments within the organisation Manage and maintain electronic and paper filing systems Answer and direct phone calls and emails Schedule and coordinate Disciplinary and Tribunal operations Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos, and reports relating to your various roles Assist with the preparation of presentations and other materials Perform data entry and maintain databases Order and maintain office supplies Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Certificate 4 or high in Administration or Business Operations 2 years of experience in an administrative support role Proven High Degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Strong English written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks Experience with data entry and database management Knowledge of office equipment and procedures Ability to work as part of a small hardworking team This is a child related position. Successful applicants must hold a valid NSW Working With Children Clearance. Remuneration Will be above award wages based on Grade 5 Clerical in the SPORTING ORGANISATIONS AWARD [MA000082] dependent upon age and experience.
