More About the Role at Xero About the team you’ll join The Grow domain sits within Xero’s Enterprise Technology group, managing some of the key Sales & Marketing Technologies used at Xero. Within Grow, our remit is Customer Acquisition and Engagement; working with stakeholders to enable new capabilities that help Xero scale and improve experiences for our external customers and internal users. We leverage systems like Qualtrics, Salesforce Sales Cloud (CRM), Marketing Cloud, CRM Analytics and other SaaS-based technologies to achieve strategic objectives. Be part of a dynamic team at Xero; working on innovative projects that enhance customer engagement and experience What you'll do: - Design, build, and deliver tailored solutions to enhance and support the use of Intercom, ensuring sustainable and excellent engineering practices. - Provide day-to-day administration, troubleshooting, and support for the Intercom platform and its users. - Collaborate within and across teams to design and deliver initiatives aimed at measuring and improving customer engagement. - Support the development of integration solutions between Intercom and other systems such as Mixpanel, Relational Databases and other SaaS based tools in our stack. - Build and maintain a reputation as a ‘trusted advisor’ across a range of internal stakeholders by advocating for best practice, and providing recommendations to optimize and increase use of the platform. - Engage with and interact directly with Intercom representatives. - Step in and help deliver our Intercom roadmap by owning end-to-end outcomes. - Tackle technical challenges and learn on the go across a range of SaaS based systems. What you'll bring: - Ideally a strong understanding of Intercom or other in-product communication tools, but if you’re an experienced technology generalist keen to dive in and upskill we’d be interested in talking with you. - Any exposure to .NET Engineering would be a huge plus. - Previous experience working with SaaS-based technologies and platforms; ideally working in an agile fashion within a development function. - An interest in integration patterns and the knowledge to design and implement API or batch based integrations. - Experience with other customer experience management platforms and tools is a plus, especially Salesforce CRM. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to collaborate with business stakeholders to identify viable technology solutions If you don’t think you're a perfect fit, you should still sign up to Hatch and create a profile, we'll match you to other roles that suit your profile.
