Job Description We are looking to appoint a Director of Sales and Marketing to add significant value to our skilled and high-performing teams at Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort and Elysia Wellness Retreat. This newly created, on-site role, based in the scenic Hunter Valley, will play a crucial role in advancing the growth of both Cypress Lakes Resort and Elysia Wellness Retreat. This position will be responsible for spearheading the implementation and execution of sales and marketing strategies for Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort and Elysia Wellness Retreat. You will collaborate with senior stakeholders, and be responsible for leading and motivating a team of sales professionals, focusing on driving revenue growth, delivering unparalleled guest services and overseeing marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and market presence. Key Responsibilities Include: Oversee a team of sales professionals by offering strategic guidance, regular coaching, and mentorship to enhance their performance and ensure their growth aligns with company goals Collaborate with the Revenue department to create and implement comprehensive sales plans and forecasts Collaborate closely with the Marketing department, offering expert guidance and support for brand and marketing initiatives related to Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort and Elysia Wellness Retreat Create, develop and implement all social media campaigns for Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort and Elysia Wellness Retreat Assess the overall sales performance and market potential of the individual properties Develop, oversee, and manage operating budgets (OPEX) for sales activities, ensuring that expenditures are aligned with strategic goals and financial constraints Monitor and evaluate sales performance against targets, taking corrective actions when necessary to address any deviations and ensure goals are met Provide direction and support to staff through constructive feedback, coaching, and targeted training programs to enhance their skills and performance Represent Minor Hotels brands at various trade shows and association meetings, showcasing the company's offerings and networking with industry professionals Build and sustain strong relationships with key industry stakeholders, including clients and partners, to foster collaboration and business opportunities Identify and report significant issues to the General Manager or Director of Operations, seeking their support and intervention to resolve challenges effectively
