Customer Service Role: Internal Sales & Customer Service Consultant We at Thermofilm Australia Pty Ltd are seeking a professional & positive person who thrives in a customer service environment to join our team at our new Scoresby location. Focused on best practice customer service for major retail & commercial customers, distributors and end-users, this position will be a 38 hours per week, permanent full-time role. Thermofilm Australia Pty Ltd is a market leader in the outdoor living, heating and BBQ categories and includes brands such as HEATSTRIP and CROSSRAY. These products are designed and engineered in Australia and exported to international markets all over the world. We are seeking a candidate that would love to join our fun & energetic office environment, with significant growth opportunities over the next 5 years. Key responsibilities: Assisting customers (phone, email or in-person) in all aspects of our customer-first function, including product, pricing, delivery etc. Replying to Customer Technical queries & Specifying Commercial or Residential projects when required. Providing prompt and efficient processing of sales orders (occasional data-entry support only). Liaising with warehouse and logistics staff to ensure orders are dispatched in-full, as efficiently as possible and in a timely manner. Liaising with various internal & external personnel to ensure business continuity which will require general commercial problem solving. Use of CRM to facilitate marketing communications (maintain an up to date customer database) Develop a deep knowledge of the company's product range and be comfortable in assisting customers with product related inquiries (full training provided). Preparation of quotations/proposals as required Liaising with customers regarding delivery dates, order & freight status etc. Providing customers, both over the phone and via email with a world class customer experience On-site customer service & product inquiries Skills and Experience: Excellent work ethic (Reliable and hardworking) Excellent communication skills – able to converse with people at all levels, both written and spoken Have demonstrated experience learning a technical product and using this knowledge to assist in an internal sales or administration role function previously. Computer savvy - able to use Microsoft Office, Excel, Publisher and PowerPoint. Technically minded - able to read plans or drawings Background in BBQ’s or Electric/Gas heaters would be ideal, but not mandatory.
