The Company Our client based in Dandenong South are the leaders in hydroponic supplies and passive fire protection products. With a fantastic opportunity available to join their small family business they also pride themselves on the safety and protection of their employees. The Role: Due to increased sales growth, they are now looking to engage a full-time Admin Assistant to join their busy Customer Service Department. Reporting to the Customer Service Manager you will be responsible for assisting with both external and internal customer relationships and ensuring being the first point of contact is positive and successful. Not only will training be provided to ensure high level of knowledge but you will also have the opportunity to support the office manager and HR Manager adding variety to your position. Other duties include, but not limited to: Prepare sales invoices and purchase orders (MYOB) Setting up and maintaining customer files Absorb a high volume of information and provide appropriate and accurate feedback to customers Purchasing of Goods (Office Stationery Supplies, Staff amenities and inventory items) Liaising with freight companies to ensure the timely delivery of goods Chep pallet transfers and exchanges Other general office administrative functions as required Assist with implementation and continuous improvement of the company quality and safety system The Successful Candidate: You display a professional presence with customers at all times, adapting your style to suit the audience. You are flexible and can adjust to ever changing priorities, whilst remaining calm under the daily pressures. Your ability to meet your KPI's while dealing with the day to day issues will determine your ability to organise your time to achieve results You will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a busy Sales, Customer Service or Administration role. In addition, you will have some Accounting/bookkeeping experience, preferably with MYOB and any previous experience working in Manufacturing will be a bonus.
