Role Purpose: Sheet Society is looking for seasonal casual Warehouse Storepersons to support through the peak trade period from mid-October to mid-December. This role plays a major part in our customer journey, you’re the final piece of the puzzle and the last stop before our sheets make their way to their forever home. This is the perfect position for someone who loves being part of a team, has amazing attention to detail and thrives working in a fast paced environment. About the Team: This role reports to the Warehouse and Fulfilment Manager and works closely with the Warehouse Team Lead and broader Warehouse team. What you’ll be doing Picking and packing orders, which includes writing a handwritten love note to each of our customers. Helping maintain a safe and clean workplace. Refolding returned stock. Unpacking shipping containers. Spending a lot of time on your feet moving and organising stock. This at times includes heavy lifting and the use of manual handling equipment. Maintain an organised, clean, safe and inclusive working environment by adhering to all OHS requirements and acting in line with Sheet Society’s values. Other general duties as required. Your availability Available whole period from mid-October to end-December Shifts within 7am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday Available to work 3-5 days per week, Monday Tuesday Wednesday being the days where most shifts will be available What you look like Capable of lifting heavy boxes regularly Able to stand for around 8 hours per day Ability to keep calm under pressure Strong ability to work in a team environment A motivated self-starter; you don’t enjoy standing around Neat handwriting is a bonus Experience using Forklifts / Walkie Stackers not essential however an advantage Full Driver’s license and experience driving trucks not essential however an advantage Why You'll Love It Here: At Sheet Society, it’s more than a workplace, it’s a community.
