Reporting to the Assistant General Counsel - NSW, and as part of an engaged, collaborative, supportive yet fast-paced legal team, you will: Support internal, multi-disciplinary clients, within a committed, dynamic and encouraging work environment, by: Provide advice on: Provide training on legal issues for non-legal technical staff. Reviewing, negotiating and drafting a wide range of commercial contracts, including consultancy contracts in a range of contexts, such as design and construct, design only, alliancing and pure consultancy (or sub-consultancy) services for major infrastructure projects. General legal issues that arise from day to day in a global consulting firm in the areas of employment, privacy and contract law, intellectual property law, commercial disputes and litigation management. Legislative compliance, internal policies and some corporate governance matters. What you will bring to the team: Australian Practicing Certificate with ideally 10 years PQE Strong commercial contracting negotiation skills - ideally in an engineering or construction law environment. Experience in varied procurement formats, contract reviews and drafting of complex projects. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, strong team mindset. Strong organisational and time management skills Experience in a geographically dispersed team with a focus on complex engineering and/or design projects.
