Role overview The Fabrication and Warehouse Manager oversees the fabrication processes and warehouse operations. Ensuring the smooth flow of materials, timely production and delivery of projects, coordinating materials, optimising production workflows; and maintaining safety and compliance. Role activities Oversee the daily operations of the steel fabrication workshop, ensuring projects are completed on time and meet quality standards Coordinate the fabrication team to ensure production schedules are adhered to, balancing workload and capacity Work closely with design and installation teams to ensure steel is fabricated according to project specifications and drawings Manage the warehouse operations, including the storage, organisation, and retrieval of materials Ensure the accurate recording of all materials in the warehouse, including received, stored, and dispatched items Lead and manage the fabrication and warehouse teams, providing training, support, and direction Collaborate with the procurement, design, sales, and installation teams to ensure smooth completion of all projects Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the fabrication and warehouse teams Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality control standards, and company policies Maintain accurate records of all projects, material usage, timelines, and changes to ensure traceability and accountability Your Experience & Skills Bachelor’s degree in operations management, Engineering, or a related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in a fabrication, warehouse, or logistics management role, preferably within the steel or construction industries Strong understanding of steel fabrication processes and warehouse logistics Proficiency in inventory management systems and project management software Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and process improvement methodologies Proven leadership ability Excellent organisational and communication skills Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Valid driver’s licence To Apply: Click apply now and upload a current Resume, addressing the above criteria.
