Join one of AFR's Best Places to Work in 2024 Join Our Extraordinary Team as a Personal Care Attendant We are actively looking for experienced Disability Support Workers for Noosa and its surrounding suburbs on the Sunshine Coast, including Noosa Heads, Noosaville, Peregian Beach, Coolum Beach, Sunshine Beach and Tewantin. If you're passionate about client-focused care, kindness, and creating joy, we want you ABOUT THE ROLE As a care team member with Prestige Inhome Care, you will work collaboratively with the larger nursing and care team to provide high quality care services to clients needing support across the Sunshine Coast. Hours Available: Monday - Friday shifts Shifts Inactive Overnights approximately 3 nights per week Tasks include: Observe client’s wellbeing and make recommendations about care enhancements. Be proactive with our clients’ needs Personal care and general household duties to ensure the client receives the most extraordinary care Assisting with patient with any personal care requirements Maintaining records and communicating with doctors Participate in client reviews and work with the client’s family to honour client requests Excellent interpersonal and communication skills The ability to work autonomously and within interdisciplinary team Work 1:1 with clients and their families in the home setting ABOUT YOU You have a real passion for helping people and this shows through your exceptional communication skills and the way you respectfully treat others. You are compassionate, empathetic, and professional in all that you do. You want to make a difference with your warm and caring outlook. What are we looking for? Minimum 1 year of previous experience in aged care, disability, home & community care is a must. Need to have a Certificate III Individual Support or Certificate IV Disability. Valid driver’s licence & reliable vehicle would be preferred Current First Aid Certificate & CPR certificates NDIS Worker Screening Check or the willingness to obtain one Strong Manual Handling experience Willing to do long hour shifts WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?
