Your New Employer: Matrix CNI Matrix CNI, a prominent Network integrator to government and corporate clients in NSW with strong customer focus and work ethics, is looking to supplement their capabilities by employing a Network Engineer that they can develop and mentor. They are looking for an outgoing and positive professional with hands on technical experience who enjoys interacting with clients. This is a self-sufficient role in a dynamic organisation (22 employees) and a culture that places staff development and client service at the forefront of their business, offering modern technologies. Your New Role This role will allow you to utilise your skills as a Network Engineer operating across all areas of pre-sales, implementation and support for a focus on professional growth. The technical stack you will be exposed to in this role includes servers, storage, LAN, Wireless LAN, Unified Communications and Security, partnering with industry leading vendors HP, Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, F5 and Microsoft. Your Background and Experience Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar Network Engineer role; Certifications from HP, Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, F5 or Microsoft highly desirable; and Knowledge and experience with one or more of the following the is desirable: Deployment and Management of Windows in both physical and vitalised environments; Microsoft Exchange / 365; Virtualisation technologies; UNIX systems; Scripting languages; Firewall / VPN / Security infrastructure; Microsoft SCCM / SCOM / SCDPM / SCVMM; VoIP / Cisco UC / IP Telephony; Storage technologies; and Backup technologies In addition to these technical competencies, you will be action orientated, results driven with excellent prioritisation skills. You will be able to think on your own, be confident in your own ability and have drive and enthusiasm to learn new technologies. You will have an innovation mindset and will enjoy fast paced environments where you can be challenged and deliver cutting-edge solutions to a diverse client base. You have a fun, friendly and easy-going personality and be keen to continue developing your skills. Naturally, you will be a team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
